We’re proud of our culture and understand the foundation of our business is the amazing team. We don’t like to brag too much, but we do have great bunch of people – creative, fun, happy and passionate about what they do.
We believe that good business is being good to one another, as well as to our planet, and we work hard at creating a space where our team can be supported by each other and foster great relationships.
H&A are proud to be a sponsor of Wellspring, a North Yorkshire based charity that provides affordable, psychological support to both adults and children in distress, and promote good mental health throughout education and training. We regularly support the charity through fundraising activities – in 2023 some of the team did a sky dive and we also supported charity events celebrating 20 years.
We are currently checking out our next fundraisers. We also actively promote good mental health within the workplace and regularly have “Mindful Mondays” where our team take time out of the working day to do a fun and wholesome activity with each other.

We have been involved in supporting children in Kenya for the past decade, originally with Orphanage funding and more recently with further education. We are currently supporting four young people there who are pursuing further education in Kenya, including providing accommodation for them. Alongside this, we are supporting some young women in Kenya who have not had a consistent school education through the provision of two workshops – a hairdressing salon and the other one sewing training. These workshops enable these women to develop skills in order for them to earn their own wage.
